Meet Mikaela Janes

Mikaela Janes joined the Baker Audiology team in October 2023 as the Patient Care Coordinator. Mikaela is a true Midwest girl. She grew up outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Following in her parents footsteps, she also attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Graduating with a Bachelor’s of Health Sciences and Minor in Biology, she has a love for caring for people. While at Drake, she was a four-year letter award winner and captain for the Drake University Rowing team. Upon college graduation, she served for three years as a missionary and team director through the Fellowship of Catholic University Students at the University of South Dakota Newman Center in Vermillion, South Dakota. She is currently studying to receive her Master’s in Psychology through Divine Mercy University, anticipating graduation in May 2024. Mikaela has personal ties to the hard of hearing and Deaf community and is conversational in American Sign Language. She is grateful and excited to learn and grow in this joyful environment at Baker Audiology.

Away from the desk, Mikaela enjoys visiting Lake Okoboji with her family, being an active parishioner in her Church, training for half marathons, and drinking coffee out of a Cinderella mug.
