About

Originally from Salem, South Dakota, she joined the Baker Audiology & Hearing Aids team in May 2025 as an Summer Undergraduate Intern/Audiology Assistant. She graduated from McCook Central High School and is currently a sophomore at the University of South Dakota, where she is studying Communication Sciences & Disorders. After completing her undergraduate degree, she plans to continue her education and earn her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree.

Her passion for audiology began through an FFA (Future Farmers of America) agriscience project focused on noise-induced hearing loss in agricultural workers. As part of the project, she worked closely with Libby and Melissa to provide hearing screenings and educate farmers about the risks of prolonged noise exposure and ways to protect their hearing. Seeing how common hearing loss is within the agricultural community helped her realize the meaningful role audiologists can play in helping people preserve and improve their hearing.

The project was especially personal because of her own family’s deep roots in agriculture. As the sixth generation on her family farm, she has seen firsthand how years of working around loud farm equipment can affect hearing. Both of her grandfathers and her dad have experienced hearing loss related to agricultural noise exposure. Her grandpa was also the person who first introduced her to Baker Audiology, where she met Libby and Melissa. That connection eventually gave her the opportunity to learn more about hearing healthcare, work in the office, and discover the career she hopes to pursue.
Outside of work and school, she enjoys golfing, spending time with her friends and family, helping around the family farm, and flower gardening. She is the daughter of Ben and Jennifer Roling and has two siblings, Landon and Alyssa. We are grateful to have this passionate, kind, and loyal intern on our team!
