About

Ella Lilleberg joined the Baker Audiology team in May 2026 as an Audiology Extern and fourth-year Doctor of Audiology student. Ella grew up in Jackson and Lakefield, Minnesota, where she learned the value of hard work while helping on her family’s farm from a young age. After graduating from Jackson County Central High School in 2019, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She later received her Master of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2025 and is currently completing her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.), with graduation expected in May 2027.
Growing up, Ella worked a variety of jobs, including at a grocery store, snow cone stand, pharmacy, and as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Caring for patients in nursing homes and healthcare settings helped shape her passion for improving quality of life through compassionate care. Inspired by her love of science, her family’s encouragement, and seeing the impact hearing loss had on both of her grandfathers, she found the perfect fit in audiology. She especially enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and helping them reconnect with the people and sounds that matter most.
Ella has personal ties to the hearing healthcare field through several family members, including her uncle, Mikkel Knudsen, President of ReSound, her fiancé, Ethan Hendrickson, a SoundGear Specialist, and her fiancé’s aunt, Amber Knettle, Vice President of Starkey Start Hearing Operations. She also completed American Sign Language I and II during her undergraduate education and enjoys continuing to expand her knowledge while providing patient-centered care.
Away from the clinic, Ella enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her fiancé. Together they share their home with a dog, Torvi, and a cat, Hodor. She loves baking, arts and crafts, reading, listening to podcasts, and a little friendly competition through board games and puzzles. Ella also enjoys spending time outdoors, strengthening her faith, and relaxing with true crime, fantasy, romance, and reality TV. One fun fact patients quickly learn is that Torvi knows several tricks, and Ella is always happy to share a video!
